38 s/w still easily bought at around 19.00 per box of 50 for fmj.38 s/w was the police upgrade from 32 caliber and can be loaded to produce power between 9mm and 38 special. original police ammo was loaded at xxxx fps with 85 grain bullets.
A lot of people bored out the slight stop at the end of the cylinder to take 38 special bullets but that ruins the collector value so I have NOT done that to this fne revolver.
